Chili

Our "quacked up chili" won 2nd place in the annual PTO Chili Cook Off.  These ducklings sure make a good batch of chili!

An Author's Visit

An Author's Visit

Gretchen Panicucci, the author of Lucy Practices a Lockdown: Preparing Young Students for School Lockdowns, read her wonderful book in our classroom to prepare our students for their first lockdown drill.

Snowy, Snowy April and May

I sent home snow clothes at the end of March.  How silly?  The snow began to come in April we had snowstorms all through April and in early May.  There were 2 hour delays every week.  Today, on May 9, we enjoyed a beautiful foot of snow.  The kindergartners took advantage of the snow and tried out snow shoeing before lunch.

Sight Word Party

 We are Readers!

On April 22, we had an ice cream/dress up party to celebrate every ones sight word success!  All students passed list #1.  Many students are far beyond the first 10 words and reading more every day!
