Chili

Our "quacked up chili" won 2nd place in the annual PTO Chili Cook Off.  These ducklings sure make a good batch of chili!

Gretchen Panicucci, the author of Lucy Practices a Lockdown: Preparing Young Students for School Lockdowns, read her wonderful book in our classroom to prepare our students for their first lockdown drill.

Snowy, Snowy April and May

I sent home snow clothes at the end of March.  How silly?  The snow began to come in April we had snowstorms all through April and in early May.  There were 2 hour delays every week.  Today, on May 9, we enjoyed a beautiful foot of snow.  The kindergartners took advantage of the snow and tried out snow shoeing before lunch.
